My Mate Your Date was all about introducing you to people through your friends. However our members told us that they’d be happy to meet people outside their friendship circles if they had lots of things in common.
We upgraded to Quinn in April-2016 and all members with an iPhone can simply upgrade their My Mate Your Date app to Quinn (see here). Unfortunately we aren’t supporting Android although this will change in the near future ☺

Yes. Please use your Facebook account to validate your identity. Facebook also helps Quinn to show you mutual friends you have with matches.

No. Quinn will never publish anything to your timeline. None of your Facebook friends will see that you are using the app (but of course we’re happy for you to tell them about Quinn!).

Quinn will only suggest people for you that tick lots of boxes. Matches are likely to be highly compatible based on factors including people who are already friends with your friends, shared values and life experiences, mutual interests, compatible lifestyle, relationship intention - even compatible astrology! Quinn gets smarter and smarter over time, so it’s worth investing in your relationship with Quinn.

That’s simple. Quinn gets to know every member deeply and does all the work making intelligent matches. Whereas other dating apps are interested in growing your potential dating pool, Quinn wants to narrow your pool down to just only those matches you’ll like.
Quinn is passionate about creating meaningful connections for you, rather having you spend hours playing ‘hot or not’ or seeing people you’ve walked past.

Review each of Quinn’s suggestions, including their photos, values, shared interests, hobbies, mutual friends and all of Quinn’s rationale for matching you. Tell Quinn whether you LIKE or PASS on each match. If you choose LIKE then you can send them an icebreaker. If the interest is mutual then Quinn will properly introduce you both so you can chat on-site. No match? Not interested? Not to worry, Quinn sends you new date suggestions everyday.

To delete My Mate Your Date, simply remove the app icon as you normally would. Then go to https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications from a desktop computer (will not work from a mobile device) and remove the app from the list.
